You might have seen it and heard about it many times around the internet via various resources – social media, YouTube or articles.

Old Money definition came from special class of society which inherited their money from ancestors – grand fathers/mothers etc, i.e. have been wealthy for multiple generations.

Old money, or quiet luxury clothes are not about trends. This is elegant clothes that has always been worn by special class of society. It was always appreciated by people with high income. But for better understanding lets still call it a trend as for large masses it became popular this year.
Imagine that there is a beautiful masterpiece at the museum basement among other pictures. One day the manager of the museum decides to take that masterpiece to the main hall. It becomes available to all visitors that are astonished by its beauty. Beauty of the masterpiece quickly spreads around the town by visitors. Does it mean that masterpiece becomes more beautiful once it relocate to the main hall for a wider audience? Of course not. It is just highlighted by spotlights and many people get know about it. But the masterpiece remains its beauty just as it always had.
Same is with the quiet luxury trend. It has always been among a small number of people who are living their private lives in close society and private clubs. It is noteworthy that quiet luxury is more about a special kind of aesthetics – restraint, aristocracy, sophistication. This style highlights the superiority of the owner but you can understand it without words just via visual aspect.

Of course, yes. As we mentioned above, existing old money trend is more about aesthetics. Yes, quality is crucial, but you can pick good quality items at affordable price with other brands.
